With nearly 30 years experience, modern machinery, skilled personnel and a global network, Bemis specialises in thermoforming, gas flushing and vacuum packing for the food industry. Its products are the result of continuous research and development.

Oppenheimer NZ has represented trade names from Bemis such as Walkiflex, Walkivac, Walkitop and Opalen for 10 years. Bemis’ main objective is to provide packaging films that combine the best barrier and effective sealing properties with excellent optics and much less material than conventional laminates.

Barrier rendered by film is essential for extending the shelf-life of the packed product. Mechanical strength is required in packing, handling and distribution. Excellent transparency and gloss improve pack appearance. Excellent sealing properties are needed for high-speed packing machines to give maximum pack integrity.
