Together with Bemis company Curwood, Oppenheimer NZ produces the Pro-Tite barrier bag. Pro-Tite provides extra puncture resistance for packaging fresh and cooked meats with protruding bones, surface coatings such as cracked pepper and seasonings, and products with cooking films (such as fibrous and cellulose films).

Pro-Tite barrier puncture resistant bags are made from a tough multi-layer, heat shrinkable film. They are extraordinarily puncture resistant and have excellent optical properties with high clarity and minimal haze. Pro-Tite bags offer excellent shrink, have outstanding machinability, and a remarkably low moisture and oxygen transmission rate to maximise shelf life.

Pro-Tite barrier bags can be printed and converted to suit different needs. They range in size from widths of 200-450mm and lengths up to 950mm. Straight, curved and shank seals are available with the option of taping.
